Fact #1: Miscellaneous Discrimination charges are the least commonly charged basis at the
FCHR (out of 11).
Appearing in 1% of all cases (see statistics bar at the top ("pTot" column)).
Fact #2: More times than not, Miscellaneous Discrimination charges are accompanied by at least one more charge (ie, unk+col).
Takeaway #1: The prevalence of miscellaneous discrimination has not abated throughout the years (1/1/00 – present). As evidenced by the relatively flat annual proportions (see “

Takeaway #2: Some of these charges are based on discrimination on Genetic Information (see
GINA. A basis that Florida law just recently added protection for.
