The defendants argue, on the other hand, that we should review the decision of the district court only for abuse of discretion.

We agree with the defendants. The principle of international comity applied in this case is an abstention doctrine. Ungaro-Benages v. Dresdner Bank AG, 379 F.3d 1227, 1238 (11th Cir. 2004).
