STRIKE A SHAM PLEADING
STANDARD OF REVIEW = ABUSE OF DISCRETION

It is settled that if a party submits materially false evidence in a civil proceeding, whether in discovery or at trial, the court has the discretion to strike the offending party's claim or defense as a sanction. See Long v. Swofford, 805 So.2d 882 (Fla.3d DCA 2001)
