Section 559.5558(2), F.S. Information held by the Office of Financial Regulation pursuant to an investigation or examination of a violation of statutes relating to consumer collection practices is confidential and exempt until the investigation or examination is complete or no longer active. Disclosure is authorized to a law enforcement agency or another administrative agency in the performance of its official duties and responsibilities. However, specified information, including certain consumer information, remains confidential. Section 559.952(5)(h), F.S. Certain information provided to and held by the Office of Financial Regulation in a Financial Technology Sandbox application by specified providers of innovative financial products or services is confidential and exempt.
